This year's Alton Millpond Hockey Classic was a great success! With fantastic support from the community the event raised $9,700 that will go towards the Alton Millpond Rehabilitation Project. The money was raised through sales at the bar and barbecue as well as the proceeds from the "Hot Stove Lounge" pub night that followed the games. The cheque was presented to the committee this Thursday March 13. Many thanks to all those who attended both the classic and sold out "Hot Stove Lounge" pub night and we look forward to seeing you next year!
