Passionate Heart, women’s stories through dance, was developed in 2018 by senior dance artists Suzette Sherman and Michele Green in collaboration with Dancetheatre David Earle. The hour-long program includes a short introductory talk, six dances, and ends with a group discussion.

 

Dance is a physical portrayal of storytelling. The stories explore friendship, loneliness, despair, grief, entrapment, and redemption. Passionate Heart removes lights, stage, and costumes to present a raw, intimate experience between dancers and the audience.
