REDC opposes further expansion of the 3800 acre corridor of aggregate mines between Caledon Village and Belfountain in the Town of Caledon. Proceeds of the Benefit are for an ecological research study that will add to our knowledge of the cumulative impact of supersized aggregate development on a sensitive, environmentally threatened ecosystem.
