"The Hive"

Explore the ancient art of painting with beeswax in the "Hive" with Encaustic artist Andrea Bird. 10am-4pm January 10. In this introduction to the medium you'll learn a brief history of the art, an overview of potential safety concerns, the use of a heat gun, blowtorch, mixing colours, basic layering and more.

The day includes a 45 minute lunchbreak and is a great way to further enhance your skills in Andrea's beautiful studio. All suplies are provided for this day long workshop.
