Celebrate the Victoria Day weekend by painting Ontario’s official flower, the beautiful trillium. Suitable for total beginners or those who have taken watercolour before, artist CJ Shelton will take you step by step through creating your very own freshly green and white painting of these magical forest favourites which only appear for a few weeks each spring. Watercolour techniques covered in this session include using wet-in-wet and glazing to create the illusion of depth.

No drawing or painting experience is required. Please bring any watercolour brushes or paints you currently have although supplies will be available for those who don’t have them. Paper and stretching boards will be supplied.
