The Way of Water: Waterloom

An immersive art experience at the alton mill arts centre

Step into a world shaped by water—its rhythms, its memory, its quiet power to connect us all. The Way of Water: Waterloom is a multi-sensory art installation and immersive experience that transforms the Falls Gallery into a meditation on water’s place in our lives.

Created in collaboration with artists, environmental stewards, and community voices, Waterloom invites visitors to pause, listen, and rediscover the stories carried by every drop. Wander through artist immersions, participate in live loom weaving, and messages for water and share in watershed stories and Indigenous voice & vision.

Experience the Grand Opening on November 22, 2025 during the Alton Mill Art Centre Christmas Open House.

Join immersion sessions every Sunday— tickets available here.

Why Water?
Water sustains us. Shapes us. Moves through our bodies and our landscapes with equal care. The Way of Water explores our relationship with this essential element—inviting you to see water not just as a resource, but as a companion and a source of wisdom.

Whether you're an art enthusiast, a nature lover, or simply curious, Waterloom offers a chance to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect—with the environment, with community, and with yourself.

Come immerse. Come listen.Come follow the way of water.
