Our Spaces

Each of our spaces offers something different, from the intimate stonewalls, wooden beams, and unique glass lenses of the Millrace Room to the sun-filled views of the Pond Gallery.

Our primary event space, the Millrace Room, offers convenience for catering and food services, ample space and features the adjacent Tuscan-style Waterfall courtyard, the perfect outdoor oasis on a beautiful day.

POND GALLERY

The stunning Pond Gallery is an event and exhibition space located on the upper level. Filled with natural light, incredible views of the Millpond, and a variety of art, this space is best suited to small events with limited food service requirements.

Accommodate up to 85 guests for a standing reception.

MILLRACE ROOM
& WATERFALL COURTYARD

An intimate space featuring stone walls, wood beams and unique glass lenses in the floor. Located adjacent to the Turbine Room heritage exhibit and Tuscan-style Waterfall Courtyard – this is our primary event space and home to an incredible party!

When you host your special event at the Alton Mill, you’ll enjoy more than just a stunning setting — you’ll have everything you need for a seamless celebration. Your venue rental includes the guidance of our on-site Venue Coordinator, use of our in-house tables and chairs, and full photography access across the property.

The Catering Experience

Food is often one of the most memorable elements of any party, which is why we have chosen to work with some of the best catering companies. Whether you’re planning a casual cocktail reception or an elegant multi-course meal, our caterers offer uncompromising service and unforgettable culinary experience. Their customized menus can be adapted to suit your tastes and budget.

Given our unique set-up, our catering partners also provide your linens and tableware, as well as professional servers and bartenders and will handle the set-up and clean-up.

While you are welcome to work with a guest catering company, increased Landmark Fees will apply.
