Millrace Room
An intimate space featuring stone walls, wood beams and unique glass lenses in the floor. Located adjacent to the Turbine Room heritage exhibit and Tuscan-style Waterfall Courtyard – this is our primary event space and home to an incredible party!

Turbine Room
The Turbine Room heritage exhibit is complete with the original turbine system, power take-off shafts and coal boiler. This incredible, historic space is often used to house a bar for your guests to enjoy.

Waterfall Courtyard

Riverside Grove
Nestled between Shaw’s Creek and the limestone walls of the Alton Mill, this lovely space can be used for intimate ceremonies or as the perfect spot for wedding photos.

The stunning Pond Gallery is an event and exhibition space located on the upper level. Filled with natural light, incredible views of the Millpond, and a variety of art, this is a favourite place for many.

From the moment you arrive, complimentary parking (with charging stations ready for modern journeys) makes things simple for your guests. Your four-legged friends are welcome too — because family includes them.
Wander our historic spaces and natural grounds freely with your photographer; the property is yours to capture. Raise a toast with your own favourite wine or craft beer — no corkage fees, and your Special Occasion Permit is already included.
Your experience begins early, with plenty of time for your team of professionals to work their magic. Then, dance the night away with your favourite people until 1:00 am.
You’ll have access to our tables and chairs to set the scene (with the option to upgrade if you wish), and our on-site event coordinator will be there to guide you and set you up for the best day ever!

Signature WeddingDesigned for couples who want it all — elevate your day with the Alton Mill at its most magical. This package offers premium options, extended access, and added luxuries, ensuring your wedding feels as extraordinary as your love story.

Classic WeddingCelebrate your day from “I do” to last dance with full use of our historic indoor event spaces and grounds (excluding the Annex Courtyard). This package blends flexibility, ease, and the natural romance of the Mill for a truly unforgettable experience.

Starting at $7500
Intimate WeddingDesigned for smaller celebrations, this package captures the beauty and charm of the Alton Mill in a cozy, meaningful way. Enjoy a heartfelt ceremony and reception surrounded by art, history, and the people who matter most.

The Catering Experience
Food is often one of the most memorable elements of any party, which is why we have chosen to work with some of the best catering companies. Whether you’re planning a casual cocktail reception or an elegant multi-course meal, our caterers offer uncompromising service and an unforgettable culinary experience. Their customized menus can be adapted to suit your tastes and budget.
Given our unique setup, our catering partners also provide your linens and tableware, as well as professional servers and bartenders, and will handle the setup and clean-up.
While you are welcome to work with a guest catering company, increased Landmark Fees will apply.

Once you’ve fallen in love with the setting (and we think you will), we’ll help you secure your preferred date and select the package that best fits your celebration. Each includes exclusive event use of the property and the flexibility to make the experience your own.
03. Plan Your Day, Your Way
Our team will guide you through the details — from layout options and flow to trusted vendors familiar with the Alton Mill. You’ll have the freedom to personalize your celebration while knowing we’re here to help ensure that it all comes together seamlessly.
