Headwaters Arts Gallery

Step into the Headwaters Arts Gallery and experience the vibrant creativity of the Hills of Headwaters. Showcasing exceptional work from both emerging and established artists, the gallery is a must-visit for art lovers — and for anyone who believes in bringing home something meaningful, unique, and handmade.

Operated by Headwaters Arts, a not-for-profit, volunteer-driven organization, the gallery is part of a thriving community that celebrates and supports the arts in all their forms. In addition to its ever-changing exhibitions at the Alton Mill Arts Centre, Headwaters Arts curates stunning displays at Headwaters Restaurant and the Millcroft Inn & Spa, connecting local art with local experience.

Each year, Headwaters Arts presents its signature Headwaters Arts Festival — a region-wide celebration featuring a juried art show and sale, opening soiree, artist talks, an Art Market, and more — all in honour of creativity, community, and the enduring power of the arts.

Galleries that Inspire

Alton Mill Arts Centre is proud to have three incredible galleries and a one-of-a-kind heritage exhibit located within our walls. Our galleries feature a mix of work from resident artists and diverse visiting artists from throughout Canada..

Overlooking the Millpond, the spectacular Pond Gallery serves as an event and exhibition space. This sunlit space often features the artwork of invited guest artists from the Alton Mill and beyond, making it stunning backdrop for special events.

An extension of Patina Bistro, overlooking the falls at the Alton Mill Dam, the Falls Gallery will be host many incredible pieces in the years to come.
