Clay & Pottery

Jeannine Carson creates small-batch, colourful pottery designed to live comfortably in modern everyday rituals. Each piece is made with deep attention to how form, colour, and texture shape the user’s experience—particularly in those quiet, repeated moments, like morning coffee or tea.

At the heart of her work is the belief that a favourite mug is never just a vessel. It is chosen, often intuitively, for how it feels in the hand, how it rests against the lip, and how its colour resonates emotionally with the user. These subtle preferences guide an ongoing exploration in clay—one that embraces the endless combinations of shape, glaze, and surface that can transform a functional object into something personally meaningful.
