In this hands-on beginner-friendly workshop, participants will explore one of the earliest photographic processes while creating beautiful blue-and-white prints on paper using sunlight, water, and natural materials.
Together, we’ll learn about the rich history of cyanotype, from early scientific discoveries to contemporary art practices, while experimenting with composition, layering, and the unique shapes and textures found in plants. Using pressed flowers and other found natural objects, participants will discover new ways of seeing and connecting with the landscape around them.
Part art-making, part nature-exploration, this relaxed and welcoming workshop encourages curiosity, experimentation, and creative play.
