Vendor Applications
Two Days. So Many Reasons to Be a Vendor!
This year, we’re changing up the programming, with major evening attractions on both days, designed to encourage visitors to stay, explore, shop, eat and experience more of what Fire & Ice has to offer.
Saturday night: Hot Mic Comedy & Concert
Sunday night: The Big Burn
This means we’re expecting strong visitor traffic throughout the weekend, with two different headline experiences giving guests a reason to return — and giving vendors two full days to connect with festival-goers.
Vendor Hours — Please Note the Change
All vendors are required to be on site and open to the public both Saturday and Sunday, from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
This is a change from previous years.
Vendor participation is a full two-day commitment, and vendors must be prepared to remain open and staffed for the full 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM hours on both days.
Please do not register if you are unable to commit to both days and the full operating hours.
Vendor Opportunities
Indoor Artisan Vendors
Showcase your work inside the historic Alton Mill alongside our resident artists, galleries and studios.
We’re looking for makers and artists offering original, handmade or creatively produced work that fits the spirit of Fire & Ice.
Indoor vendor spaces are ideal for:
Fine art and photography
Ceramics and pottery
Textiles and fibre arts
Woodworking
Handmade goods
Artisan products
Creative and giftable goods
Indoor spaces are limited and will be assigned based on availability and overall festival fit. An 8’ table and black linen is provided.
Outdoor Vendors
Bring your winter-ready setup and join the activity outside!
Outdoor spaces are available for vendors whose products or experiences are well suited to an outdoor festival environment. Vendors are responsible for providing their own tent, displays, weights and other equipment required for their setup, however an 8’ table and black linen is provided…
Please be prepared for Canadian winter conditions and plan your setup accordingly.
Food Trucks
Keep festival-goers fuelled throughout their winter adventure!
We’re seeking a variety of food trucks and mobile food vendors to provide lunch, snacks, sweet treats and other festival-friendly fare.
Because visitors will be on site throughout the day, we’re particularly interested in vendors who can offer food that is easy to enjoy while exploring the festival.
What Vendors Need to Know

Compliance: Food vendors are responsible for obtaining and maintaining all applicable permits, inspections, insurance and health requirements.
Insurance: Vendors may be required to provide proof of appropriate commercial liability insurance.

Weather: The festival takes place rain, snow or shine. Outdoor vendors should have a plan for winter weather.
Cost: Artisan Retail vendor spaces, with an included 8’ table and floor-length linen, are $150 + hst for the full two days. Food Truck vendor spaces are $400 + hst for the full two days.
We will provide additional setup, parking, load-in, and festival-day information to accepted vendors.
Be Part of Fire & Ice
Fire & Ice is more than a winter market. It’s a weekend-long celebration that brings people to the Alton Mill to discover, shop, eat, create and stay awhile.
With live entertainment, comedy, skating, bonfires, artisan vendors and the Sunday night Big Burn, there will be plenty happening throughout the weekend — and plenty of opportunities for visitors to discover something new.
