6:30 pm Dinner and formalities; we love when couples have toasts and special dances throughout dinner.
9:30 pm Let the dancing begin!

2:00 am All vendors are headed home to bed!
Your Questions, Answered

We calculate included guests based on labour, space, and infrastructure. We can add a few additional guests at a per-person rate, while keeping your space's capacity in mind.
We recommend reviewing this with the Special Events Manager.
Please note that your event can not exceed 140 people at any time.

For weddings, we can accommodate arrivals as early as 9:00 am. Arrivals before 9:00 am will incur a $75 per hour fee to cover the additional cost of having staff on site.
For all other celebrations, the Venue Access Time indicated on your contract is the time. If you need to add additional rental hours, please notify the Special Events Manager.

We schedule ceremony rehearsals based on site availability. Most couples choose a 4:00 pm or 5:00 pm time slot (though earlier is always an option).
Your venue event coordinator will book this with you about 6 weeks before your wedding, based on venue availability.

Ceremony rehearsals are generally led by your officiant or wedding planner/coordinator if you have hired one.
A member of the Alton Mill events staff will be on site to answer any venue-related questions you might have at that time.

If you have hired a wedding planner/coordinator, they will handle all of this. If not, your DJ or MC will need to coordinate with your banquet captain to ensure a smooth experience.
