"From the canvas to the printed page to the stage, food, cooking and dining have inspired artists and chefs to produce masterpieces. Fine food and fine art are linked not only by the talent needed to create them but also by the pleasure they give to those who consume them." Jason Smith

Food & Art came together in this year’s Cuisine-Art , a celebration of all things artistic and tantalizing.

By day guests were treated to samples of the area’s best food & drink and incredible arts programing. By night the Annex Courtyard was transformed into a stage for Humber River Shakespeare Co.’s production of Macbeth…

One of the new additions to Cuisine-Art programming was Eat Local Cook-Off  — one held Saturday and another Sunday-  hosted by Jen Clark of Eat Local Caledon. Saturday’s victor Owen Vulpe of What’s Cookin’ in Erin bested Orangeville restaurant Soulyve’s Josh Blake.  Sunday’s winner was Gilles Roche of Gourmandissimo in Caledon, over Thorntin Macdonald of Bistro Rivere/Belfountain Inn.

A huge thanks to all who helped make this Cuisine-Art the most delicious yet!
