At this delicious day of “souper” cuisine, guests choose from a display of hand-crafted ceramic bowls, then sample a delectable soup provided by one of seven local chefs. And at the end of the meal, guests may keep their bowls!.
Superb soups and fixin’s will be served by:

- Main Street Inn
- Dave the Butcher
- Forage.
Other sponsors include: Dawn Friesen Graphic Design, Mono Print and Graphics, Cedar & Stone Floral Studio, Caledon Living magazine, and Scotiabank at 97 First St. Orangeville, which has agreed to match all funds raised up to $5,000.
Tickets are just $35 per person and 100% of proceeds go to local food programs. Last year Empty Bowls raised more than $13,000. This year, the team– the potters, the chefs, the graphic designers and printers, and the volunteer crew – hopes to raise even more.
Proceeds from the event support Caledon Community Services and the Food Cupboard at Westminster United Church, Orangeville.
