In this watercolour basics session, you will learn how to capture a classic Ontario fall landscape full of our famous brilliant red maple trees, white birch trunks and dark green pines reflected in a northern lake. Techniques such as washes, wet-in-wet, scumbling and dry brush will be reviewed to encourage you to explore both traditional and expressive watercolour effects in your final painting.
New students are welcome, even complete newbies who have never tried watercolour before! If you have taken sessions with CJ this one will build on your previous drawing or painting skills and add additional ones to your repertoire. Please bring any watercolour brushes or paints you currently have although supplies will be available for those who don’t have them. Paper and stretching boards will be supplied.
PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Contact CJ at 519-942-2018 or email artist@dancingmoondesigns.ca
