Show off your Halloween best at Alton Mill Arts Centre's Frightapalooza Halloween and Harvest Festival! Take part in a zombie fashion show (pre-registration required), try your hand at pumpkin carving, get your face painted or listen to a spooky story. General admission: $5 per person and $10 for families of 3 or more. Give it a Scary Whirl! in The Hive, studio 201. Make your own Halloween decorations with beeswax and terrifying transfers of cats/bats/webs and other scary things!

Join artist CJ Shelton to learn more about where our Halloween customs came from as you weave your own personal Witches Ladder from wool, ribbon and found objects. Set your intentions for the winter ahead or weave thoughts and prayers symbolically into your creation. Studio 206

Scary Spin Art with a zombified Paul Morin. Using premixed fluid acrylic paint on raw untreated canvas you will create a frightfully wonderful abstract spin art painting using an old modified wobbly potter’s wheel.
