Gingerbread Family Watercolour Workshop with CJ Shelton

If you have ever wanted to make your own Christmas cards, this is a perfect opportunity to enjoy some creative time-out during the busy holiday season, then share your results with others.

 

 

In this workshop you will learn and apply traditional watercolour techniques such as wet-in-wet, glazing and masking to “build your cookies”. You can have even more fun by dressing each cookie to look like a member of your own family – mom, dad, kids, maybe even Fido and Kitty too!

 

CJ will gently guide you through all the techniques, plus give tips on how to use an on-line printing service to make your final painting into beautiful Christmas cards that can be sent to friends and family. What could be more enjoyable than a relaxing afternoon spent sipping tea and painting in the tranquil environment of CJ’s studio at this hectic time of year!

 

New students are also welcome, even complete newbies who have never tried watercolour before! If you have taken sessions with CJ this one will build on your previous drawing or painting skills and add additional ones to your repertoire. Please bring any watercolour brushes or paints you currently have although supplies will be available for those who don’t have them. Paper and stretching boards will be supplied.
