Friday, May 29th7-9 pm, at the Alton Mill Arts Centre. Culture Cafe presents THE ART OF POLITICS: Up Close and Personal. Find out what happens behind the scenes, explore the issues and future of democracy, learn first hand what it takes to play the political 'game'. The evening will feature talks and panel discussion with former Member of Parliament under Jean Chretien, Murray Calder, current Conservative Member of Provincial Parliament Sylvia Jones, Mayor of Mono Laura Ryan, Councillor Barb Shaughnessy, and political activist Liz Armstrong.
