Culture Days ‘Spontaneous Creativity’
FREE throughout the weekend of Sat. Sept. 26 & 27
Everyone has the capacity for creative self-expression! As part of Culture Days visitors to CJ Shelton’s studio #206 on the upper floor of the Alton Mill can drop by to learn about a variety of fun activities that don’t require any art abilities or experience, just lots of imagination. Try your hand at making an on-the-spot artistic contribution to a piece of communal 'doodle art' or create your own ‘zen’ statement with a spontaneous sand mandala.
Stay and Play Awhile for “A Bountiful Harvest” Zen Doodle Session.
COST: $30 per person (includes all materials)
Guided Art Session with CJ Shelton, Saturday September 26 from 1-3 pm
Make your own miniature art piece to take home as you discover the fun of creating intricate and delightfully tangled designs known as ‘zen doodles’. No experience necessary. Inspiration for this session will be the bountiful harvest that Mother Nature provides us during this ripe and colourful time of year.
