“Seeds of Life” The Geometry of Nature Workshop with CJ Shelton

Join Mill artist CJ Shelton as she launches her very first adult colouring book and hosts a special workshop that lets you creatively explore the art of “sacred geometry”, the underlying shapes and patterns found throughout Nature that are the building blocks of life.
In the workshop, you will learn how to draw one of the most fundamental patterns known as the “Seed of Life” with a compass and ruler. This geometric pattern can then be embellished with pen & ink designs and doodles inspired by the natural items and other prompts in CJ’s beautiful nature-filled studio. The result is your very own one-of-kind design that can be coloured or left as black & white. No art experience is necessary to enjoy this fun and relaxing process.
As part of the workshop, you will also receive your very own copy of CJ’s gorgeous new “Seeds of Life” adult colouring book and a perpetual calendar to take home and continue enjoying the wonder of Nature’s patterns throughout the year. What better way to celebrate the creative energies of spring than learning from the greatest artist of all, Mother Nature!
Morning Session: 10 am to 12 noon
Afternoon Session: 2: 00 pm to 4:00 pm
$75 + HST per person. Cost includes all materials plus one colouring book to take home (value $30).
