This fun workshop will introduce you to a highly intuitive and super fun approach to the traditional wet-on-wet technique that the medium of watercolour is best known for.

 

The twist will be in how we go “exploring” within the washes and colours of whatever shows up on our paper to tease out the landscapes hidden within. No paint-by-numbers involved in this one, every piece will be completely unique, individual and non-repeatable. What better way to celebrate the arrival of spring by embracing Nature’s own rapidly transitioning landscapes!

New students are welcome, even complete newbies who have never tried watercolour before! If you have taken sessions with CJ Shelton before though, this one will build on your previous drawing or painting skills and add additional ones to your repertoire.

 

Please bring any watercolour brushes or paints you currently have although supplies will be available for those who don’t have them. Paper and stretching boards will be supplied.
